Free Bible classes are taught by St. Stephen's pastors.
Empasis in every class is placed on the good news of what God did for us in Jesus Christ.
All of our pastors are theologically trained men with Master of Divinity degrees from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.
Our classes are offered in four levels. We encourage you to take them in order:
Bible Basics 101
This is the starter class for everyone new to St. Stephen or to Christianity.
Learn the basic teachings of Christianity by reading and discussing Bible passages, following the outline of Luther's Small Catechism.
Those who complete this class are also welcome to apply for communicant membership at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church.
This class is taught on an individual basis, scheduled personally with a pastor.
One session is offered specially for youth grades 6-12 on Tuesday nights from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at our campus (September - May).
This class is also taught to students who attend our Christian Elementary School.
Bible History 201
Learn the true stories of biblical world history from the Old and New Testament.
Offered Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:15 a.m. in the north wing of the school building.
This class is also taught to students who attend our Christian Elementary School.
Bible Books 301
A thorough study of individual books of the Bible. Book of choice changes throughout the year.
Offered Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:15 in the school gymnasium, and Thursday mornings from 9:00-10:00 (September-May) in the north wing of the school building.
Christian Teaching 401
Our highest-level class features systematic instruction on every teaching in the Bible.
This class is taught on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
